My name is Alisa Plath, and I am a certified massage therapist based in Chico, California. I trained at the Massage Therapy Institute in Davis and offer mobile massage therapy throughout the greater Chico area.

I believe massage therapy is a way of coming home to your body. In a world that moves quickly and asks so much of us, it’s easy to become disconnected from our own rhythms—pushing through tension, stress, and fatigue without pause.

My work is rooted in the idea that rest is essential. Slowing down, listening inward, and allowing your body to unwind is not a luxury—it’s a necessary part of being well. I see this practice as a quiet act of resistance: choosing care, presence, and restoration in a culture that often encourages the opposite.
